The Exeter Child Care Centre opened in September 1992 in response to a need in the community. It is a community based, not for profit Centre managed by a Committee of parents, staff, West Tamar Council Representatives and Exeter Primary School representative.
With assistance from the West Tamar Council and the Education Department of Tasmania, the Centre has developed and grown since its inception. The Centre has been in its current location since 1998.
